Zélia Gattai

Zélia Gattai (born July 2, 1916, and died May 17, 2008) was a notable Brazilian writer, photographer, and memoirist. Occupant of chair 23 of the Brazilian Academy of Letters, she masterfully reported the memories of her journey alongside her partner Jorge Amado.
