Yoshihiro Tatsumi

Yoshihiro Tatsumi (born June 10, 1935, and died March 7, 2015) was a pioneering Japanese mangaka. Creator of the "Gekiga" genre, he revolutionized comics by focusing on adult, complex, and dark themes of post-war Japanese society, globally influencing sequential art.
