Vincent van Gogh

Vincent van Gogh (born March 30, 1853, and died July 29, 1890) was a legendary Dutch post-impressionist painter. Despite personal torment and lack of recognition in life, his immortal works, full of vibrant colors and dramatic brushstrokes, redefined Western art.
