Vera von Lehndorff, globally famous as Veruschka (b. 1939), is an avant-garde German supermodel, actress, and artist. With her imposing physical presence and chameleon-like ability, she transformed modeling into a true form of performance art, starring in some of the most dramatic and innovative fashion images of the 1960s.
