Sergey Ilyushin

Sergey Ilyushin (born March 30, 1894, and died February 9, 1977) was a legendary Soviet aeronautical architect. He designed the formidable Il-2 Shturmovik, the most produced military aircraft in history, and later led the development of majestic commercial civil aircraft that carried generations.
