Raymond Tomlinson

Raymond Tomlinson (born April 23, 1941, and died March 5, 2016) was a programming pioneer and the inventor of electronic mail (e-mail) on the ARPANET network. By implementing the "@" symbol to separate the user from the server, he definitively revolutionized how the world communicates.
