Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro

Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro (born March 21, 1846, and died January 23, 1905) was a genius Portuguese caricaturist, ceramist, and journalist. Creator of the iconic "Zé Povinho", his satirical work and pottery left a profound cultural and identity legacy in Portugal.
