Energy rationing in Portugal during WWII

On March 20, 1942, through the publication of Decree-Law No. 31,932, the Portuguese government imposed severe electricity rationing throughout the country. Although the nation maintained its official neutrality, this drastic measure reflected the acute economic and operational difficulties caused by the global conflict.
