Sakharov Prize 2023

Mahsa Amini (posthumously) and the "Women, Life and Freedom" Movement were awarded the 2023 Sakharov Prize for their fight for women's rights in Iran. The Sakharov Prize was established in 1988 to recognize the fight for freedom of thought.
