Pilar del Río

Pilar del Río (b. 1950) is a prominent Spanish journalist, writer, and translator. Presiding over the José Saramago Foundation, she has played a vital role in preserving and disseminating the literary and humanist legacy of the Portuguese Nobel Laureate, with whom she shared her life.
