Pierre Curie

Pierre Curie (born May 15, 1859, and died April 19, 1906) was an eminent French physicist and pioneer in the study of radioactivity. Alongside his wife, Marie Curie, he discovered the elements radium and polonium, a remarkable achievement that earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903.
