Peter Safar

Peter Safar (born April 12, 1924, and died August 3, 2003) was an extraordinary Austrian-American physician. A Holocaust survivor, he became the visionary who codified and promoted the modern technique of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), saving countless lives on a global scale.
