Paul Mauriat

Paul Mauriat (born March 4, 1925, and died November 3, 2006) was an illustrious French conductor and composer, world-famous for his light music orchestrations. His arrangement of the theme "L'Amour est bleu" (Love is Blue) became a global hit, cementing his legacy as one of the great ambassadors of European instrumental music.
