Mikhail Gorbachev

Mikhail Gorbachev (born March 2, 1931, and died August 30, 2022) was the last leader of the Soviet Union. His bold "Glasnost" and "Perestroika" reforms triggered the end of the Cold War and the peaceful dissolution of the Soviet bloc.
