Miguel Bombarda

Miguel Bombarda (born March 6, 1851, and died October 3, 1910) was an eminent Portuguese psychiatrist and politician. A pioneer in mental health in the country, his tireless civic action was fundamental to the Implantation of the Republic, having been tragically assassinated on the eve of the revolution.
