Maximiano de Sousa (Max)

Maximiano de Sousa (born January 20, 1918, and died May 29, 1980), popularly known as Max, was one of the most charismatic and popular Portuguese singers and fado artists. Native to Madeira, he marked the national music scene with his unmistakable voice, highly successful humorous fados, and traditional songs like "A Mula da Cooperativa" and "Porto Santo".
