Mary Pickford

Mary Pickford (born April 8, 1892, and died May 29, 1979) was a legendary Canadian-American actress and film producer. Known as "America's Sweetheart", she was an absolute pioneer of Hollywood, co-founder of the United Artists studio, and one of the founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
