Marshall W. Nirenberg

Marshall Warren Nirenberg (born April 10, 1927, and died January 15, 2010) was an eminent American biochemist. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1968, his work was the master key to deciphering the genetic code, demonstrating how DNA and RNA guide protein synthesis in cells.
