Mário Viegas

Mário Viegas (born November 10, 1948, and died April 1, 1996) was an extraordinary Portuguese actor and theatre director. A central figure of the National Conservatory and co-founder of the A Barraca company, his unmistakable voice and passion for poetry indelibly marked contemporary Portuguese culture.
