Marcel Lefebvre

Marcel Lefebvre (born November 29, 1905, and died March 25, 1991) was a controversial French Catholic archbishop. A strong critic of the reforms of the Second Vatican Council, he founded the Society of Saint Pius X, leading the traditionalist Catholic movement in opposition to the modernization of the Church.
