Luchino Visconti

Luchino Visconti (born November 2, 1906, and died March 17, 1976) was a masterful Italian filmmaker, stage director, and screenwriter. One of the fathers of neorealism, his cinematic work, marked by sumptuous visual sophistication and deep thematic complexity, bequeathed us undeniable masterpieces such as "The Leopard" and "Death in Venice".
