Launch of the Portuguese satellite Aeros MH-1

On March 4, 2024, the Aeros MH-1 nanosatellite was successfully launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Being the second Portuguese satellite to orbit the Earth, 30 years after the historic PoSAT-1, this technological milestone represented Portugal's ambitious return to space, driven by a scientific consortium dedicated to ocean monitoring and environmental sustainability.
