Jürgen Habermas

Jürgen Habermas (born June 18, 1929, and died March 14, 2026) was one of the most influential German philosophers and sociologists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Heir to the Frankfurt School, his vast and revolutionary work focused on the theory of communicative action, the public sphere, and the non-negotiable defense of the democratic project and Enlightenment reason.
