José António Saraiva

José António Saraiva, Portuguese journalist, writer and architect. He was the longest-lasting director of the weekly Expresso (1983-2005) and founder of the newspaper Sol in 2006. Son of essayist António José Saraiva and nephew of historian José Hermano Saraiva. Author of four novels and several works on politics and history. He passed away in Lisbon at the age of 77.
