Jacques Lacan

Jacques Lacan (born April 13, 1901, and died September 9, 1981) was a controversial and highly influential French psychoanalyst. Recognized as an original interpreter of Sigmund Freud's work, he deeply marked psychiatry by introducing structural linguistics into psychological analysis.
