J. Presper Eckert Jr.

J. Presper Eckert Jr. (born April 9, 1919, and died June 3, 1995) was an American engineer and computer pioneer. Together with John Mauchly, he invented the ENIAC (1946), the first general-purpose electronic digital computer, shaping the foundation of the entire modern computing and technology industry.
