Igor Sikorsky

Igor Sikorsky (b. 1889) was a Russian-born aviation pioneer and engineer, celebrated for developing the first stable and commercially successful helicopter in history, the VS-300. Prior to this, he achieved immense prestige by designing the world's first four-engine airplane, revolutionizing aeronautical engineering.
