Henry Hathaway

Henry Hathaway (born March 13, 1898, and died February 11, 1985) was a prolific American filmmaker. With a five-decade career spanning from silent films to the 70s, his visual mastery in directing westerns and action epics, such as "True Grit", cemented his legacy in Hollywood.
