Harry Houdini

Harry Houdini, born Erik Weisz (born March 24, 1874, and died October 31, 1926), was a legendary Hungarian-American illusionist and escape artist. His spectacular feats of escaping from handcuffs, straitjackets, and water tanks transformed him into a global entertainment phenomenon and one of the most mythical figures of the 20th century.
