Gregory Pincus

Gregory Pincus (born April 9, 1903, and died August 22, 1967) was a prominent American endocrinologist. His tireless research on the properties of steroids led to the development of the first effective oral contraceptive pill, catalyzing an unprecedented social and demographic revolution in the 20th century.
