TAP Foundation

On March 14, 1945, Transportes Aéreos Portugueses (TAP) was founded. Initially created as a state air service, it expanded its pioneering routes to Europe and Africa, consolidating itself over the decades as the national flag carrier and a vital axis of Portugal's strategic connection to the world.
