Franz Joseph Haydn

Franz Joseph Haydn (born March 31, 1732, and died May 31, 1809) was a master of Austrian classicism. Known as the "Father of the Symphony", his vast body of work established the fundamental structures of Western classical music, exerting a decisive influence on Mozart and Beethoven.
