Emiliano Zapata

Emiliano Zapata (born August 8, 1879, and died April 10, 1919) was an iconic Mexican revolutionary leader. Supreme symbol of peasant resistance and the struggle for agrarian reform, he commanded the Liberation Army of the South during the Mexican Revolution.
