National Mutualism Day

Celebration of National Mutualism Day, recognizing the importance of mutual societies in promoting solidarity and social protection, publicizing the work carried out by mutual societies and their positive impacts on communities and, finally, promoting the values ​​of mutualism and encouraging community participation and self-management. The constitution of the first organization took place in 1176, during the reign of D. Afonso Henriques.
