World Primate Day

Today is World Primate Day, a date dedicated to raising awareness about the conservation of primates, many of which are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, illegal hunting and the trade in exotic animals. This day promotes the protection of natural habitats and awareness of the importance of preserving these animals.
