International Day of Nowruz

Marked on the spring equinox, Nowruz marks the Persian New Year. Celebrated by over 300 million people in the Balkans, Black Sea Basin, Middle East, and Central Asia, it is a millenary rite of renewal, peace, and intercultural solidarity recognized by the UN.
