Saint Frances of Rome (born in 1384 and died March 9, 1440) was an Italian noble and mystic, founder of the Olivetan Oblates of Mary. Venerated for her tireless charitable work during epidemics and deep dedication to the most disadvantaged, she is the patron saint of Rome and motorists.
