St. Casimir's Day

Saint Casimir (born October 3, 1458, and died March 4, 1484), patron saint of Lithuania, Poland, and Lithuanian youth, was a prince who renounced power to follow a life of deep devotion. Known for his immense charity and dedication to the poorest, he was canonized after his early death.
