Saint Regina's Day

Saint Regina's Day is celebrated on September 7th. Saint Regina was a 3rd century Christian martyr who suffered martyrdom in Gaul. Her faith, refusing the promises of a Roman governor, and the mysteries surrounding her death, such as the healing of a white dove, made her a venerated saint in France, Germany and Holland.
