St. Olga's Day

Saint Olga of Kyiv (c. 890-969) was a regent and saint of the Orthodox Church, recognized as the first Russian ruler to convert to Christianity. Her memory celebrates the strength of female leadership and her pioneering role in the evangelization and structuring of the State in Eastern Europe.
