Day of Saint Matilda

Liturgical celebration of Saint Matilda (died March 14, 968), Queen of Germany. Recognized for her deep piety and vast charitable works, she founded numerous monasteries and dedicated her life to helping the most disadvantaged and consolidating the Christian faith in Europe.
