Declaration of International Public Health Emergency by WHO

The WHO declares the COVID-19 outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), due to the rapid spread of the virus and the increase in cases outside of China. This is stage 2 of 12 in the history of the COVID-19 pandemic.
