D. Sancho II (The Cowled)

D. Sancho II (born September 8, 1202, and died January 4, 1248) was the fourth King of Portugal. His reign was characterized by great advances in the Reconquista of Alentejo and Algarve, culminating, however, in his deposition by the Pope.
