D. Manuel II (The Patriot)

D. Manuel II (born November 15, 1889, and died July 2, 1932) was the thirty-fourth and last King of Portugal. Nicknamed "The Patriot", he ascended the throne after the tragic regicide of 1908 and was forced into exile by the Republican Revolution of 1910, dedicating the rest of his life to Portuguese culture.
