D. Fernando I (The Handsome)

D. Fernando I (born October 31, 1345, and died October 22, 1383) was the ninth and last monarch of the Afonsine Dynasty. His reign was marked by wars with Castile and the promulgation of the Lei das Sesmarias to boost agriculture.
