Charles Baudelaire

Charles Baudelaire (born April 9, 1821, and died August 31, 1867) was a brilliant French poet and art critic. Considered the pioneer of modern poetry, his masterpiece "The Flowers of Evil" broke aesthetic and moral conventions, shocking 19th-century society.
