Carlos do Carmo

Carlos do Carmo (born March 4, 1939, and died January 1, 2021) was the great renewer of fado. Known as the "Lord of Fado", he crossed tradition with jazz and orchestration, being the first Portuguese to receive a Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
