Camilo Castelo Branco

Camilo Castelo Branco (born March 16, 1825, and died June 1, 1890) was one of the most genius and prolific Portuguese writers of the 19th century. With an unmistakable, ironic style and profound psychological analysis, he immortalized national romanticism through compelling masterpieces like "Amor de Perdição" (Doomed Love).
