Bill Watterson

William Boyd Watterson II, American artist and creator of the comic strip "Calvin and Hobbes" (1985-1995). His work is considered one of the best and most influential comic books of all time, exploring themes of imagination, philosophy and childhood through the adventures of six-year-old Calvin and his stuffed tiger Hobbes. Watterson is known for his resistance to the commercialization of the work and for his decision to end the series at the height of its popularity.
