Bernard Herrmann

Bernard Herrmann (born June 29, 1911, and died December 24, 1975) was a revolutionary American composer. His genius in creating atmospheres of tension for Alfred Hitchcock in films like "Psycho" and "Vertigo" changed film music forever.
